The Heart of Teesdale Landscape Partnership is currently collecting data to produce a baseline assessment of ecological data in the Teesdale area, working in conjunction with Durham Wildlife Services and en:mapping.

The data will be collected through a public consultation and survey and this webpage provides information on how you, the public, can contribute information on habitats, species and community projects in the Teesdale area for inclusion in the baseline assessment. This in turn will inform future plans for the Teesdale Landscape Partnership.

At the bottom of this page is a map of the Heart of Teesdale area. These areas (NE or W) can be downloaded and marked with the location of known biodiversity projects, land ownership and community projects. The information we get through this public consultation will form part of the baseline assessment of Teesdale's ecological data.

If you are able to download the maps and mark them with information about known biodiversity projects, land ownership and community projects, we would be very grateful. Completed maps should be returned by post or email (scanned versions of your maps) to the addresses below. The deadline for receipt of maps is May 20th 2011.

If you have any queries about how to complete a map, please see the attached Example Map.
