En:mapping, in conjunction with staff from the University of Tennessee, Sheffield, Kent and the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust have had their "Management Cost" article accepted in the journal Biological Conservation. The article looks at the economies of scale in running a range of different sized reserves in the UK and was made possible through the opening up of detailed financial, staffing and biological information on all of the reserves managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust. En:mapping collected data through survey design and GIS layer construction, and built a database from the financial information. Click on the link to read the abstract and the journal. reference.
